My name is Debra Deal. I grew up in Stokes, North Carolina and graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education. Over the past 20 years, I have taught first grade through fifth grade in North Carolina and Virginia.  

When I am not at school, I love to garden and read mystery books. During the summer, I enjoy "floating" in the lake.
