My name is Katie Nance.  I have taught for WCPSS since 2006.  I have spent most of my time teaching 1st grade but am excited for my time in 5th grade.  I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University.  I earned my graduate degree in special education from Western Carolina University.  In my free time I enjoy watching my two children play baseball, basketball, and softball.  I also enjoy reading, plants, and my cat Luna.
