Hello Bengals!

This is my 1st year at FVMS and my 8th year of teaching Agriculture. Before joining the FVMS Family I taught at Fuquay-Varina High School, Alston Ridge Middle School, and SanLee Middle School.  I have also worked as a horse trainer, horseback riding instructor, and health educator.

In 2018 I received a graduate certificate from NCSU in Agriculture and Extension Education.  I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech in 2004 with a degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics and a minor in Animal and Poultry Sciences.  I also competed as a member of the Virginia Tech Equestrian Team.  GO HOKIES!!!!

I have 3 kids, 3 dogs, and 1 horse.  My favorite places are the farm where my horse lives, the beach, my back patio with my family, gardening stores, and anywhere else the sun is shining!  I look forward to working with your student(s) this year as we learn more about agriculture and participate in FFA events!  Roll Bengals!
