Mr. Andrew Revels
Chorus / Performing Arts Teacher
Mr. Revels received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education, with an emphasis in Voice, and a minor in Piano, from Campbell University in 2016. As a vocalist, Mr. Revels competed at both the State and Regional levels, and placed in the top 3 in his category for the National Association for Teachers of Singing Classical Auditions. He is in demand in the Triangle as a Tenor Soloist, and a Tenor Chorister. Recent engagements include the Tenor Soloist for the Messiah Sing-‐In at Edenton Street United Methodist Church, and one of the Tenor Soloists in the entire performance of Handel’s Messiah with the Campbell University Choral Society. Mr. Revels has been seen on stage in the Triangle area on many Musical and Operatic stages, as well as with the North Carolina Master Chorale and the NCMC Chamber Choir.
Mr. Revels is in his second year of Public School teaching, and his first year at Fuquay-‐Varina Middle School. His students have received Superior and Excellent ratings at Choral Festivals in North Carolina. He also enjoys teaching private Voice and Piano lessons after school, as well as traveling with his wife on the weekends. Mr. Revels and his wife currently reside in Fuquay-‐Varina.
