About: Born and raised in Idaho, but happy to call North Carolina home for the last four years. I'm proud to be a NC State graduate with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Teaching.  I love getting to know my students and their families, and I cherish the daily excuse to read and share picture books.

I’m also a proud mom of three (ages 13, 11, and 9), and when I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, and traveling with my family—always looking for new experiences and inspiration to bring back to my students.
