Mrs. Brooke Little
Mrs. Little holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, and began her career in education in Baltimore, Maryland. Since relocating to the Raleigh area in 2006, she has cultivated over two decades of joyful and impactful experience in education as a high school science teacher, career and technical education teacher, and intervention coordinator. Throughout her career, she has served in both leadership and collaborative roles on various instructional and cultural leadership committees and has been actively engaged in advising student interest and service organizations.
As a North Carolina Principal Fellow, Mrs. Little earned her Master’s degree in School Administration from NC State University. She completed her administrative internship at Buckhorn Creek Elementary School and joined Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy in the spring of 2023.
Mrs. Little is deeply committed to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments—spaces where every individual feels a sense of belonging, where diverse perspectives are honored, and where students, families, and staff are united in purpose, shared responsibility, and mutual celebration of growth and success.
She lives in Holly Springs with her husband, their two daughters, and their dogs. Beyond the walls of school, Mrs. Little finds joy in reading, creating art, and spending time outdoors. Perhaps most meaningfully, she delights in walking alongside the remarkable young women at school, in her community, and even in her own home—celebrating their growth, nurturing their passions, and encouraging them as they navigate life’s journey with curiosity, confidence, and compassion.
