How will my child get to school?
As a member of WCPSS, our students utilize WCPSS Transportation. As a magnet school, we utilize express busing options available to magnet students. Students will ride a connector bus from their bus stop to South East Raleigh High School. One at South East Raleigh High School, they will get on a bus that transports them to Wake Young Women's Leadership Academy. They will repeat this process in the reverse process at dismissal.
We also have a large carpool population. Our families often carpool share as well. Over the summer, we will offer a carpool share spreadsheet for you to connect with other families who may live in the same geographic location. Carpool users must use a different entrance. Carpool enters off Western Boulevard.
