About: I have been pleased to work with young Washington wizards and lovely staff for another year. My name is Sawsan Gadelrab (Mrs. G). I graduated from Ain Shams University in Egypt (which is my home country) with a Bachelor's degree of Science in Microbiology and Chemistry. Supporting kids with all aspects of school life became my passion as I started working at Washington Elementary School as a substitute teacher in 2019 and then as an instructional assistant since 2021. Watching kids grow, learn, laugh and play is such a blessing that I am pleased to have.

About: I received my B.S. in Education(K-8) while swimming for my Varsity Swim Team at Miami University in Ohio. I have been associated with Washington Elementary for 25 continuous years as a parent and now as an I.A. in First Grade. My five children range from 38-23 years of age who all graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill. I also have 3 grandchildren that span from 13-3 years of age. I am looking forward to building new relationships and growing established relationships during the 2023-2024 school year at Washington Elementary!
