  • North Carolina A&T State University Honors Program

    GMHS may nominate up to 3 seniors for the Univesity Honors Program.

     

    NC A&T University Honors Programs - Cheatham-White Scholars, Dowdy Scholars, February One Scholars.  Applicants will not need to apply to any individual scholarship program. The University Honors Program application will grant consideration for each program and depending upon the criteria met, applicants will be placed into a review for one or all scholarships.

  • North Carolina Central University Cheatham-White Scholarship

    Who is eligible?

    • Be admitted as a freshman in the fall semester into a baccalaureate program at NCCU.
    • Be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
    • Be on course to graduate from high school in the spring semester prior to college admission.
    • Have a minimum weighted cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher.
    • Show exceptional qualities of character and leadership.
    • Be significantly involved in extracurricular activities.
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to service.

    Cheatham-White Scholarship program was designed to provide an outstanding educational experience for exceptional scholars who have a wide range of interests, are proficient in both the arts and sciences, and demonstrate leadership potential and a strong commitment to service.

  • The "No Sweat" Scholarship

    Who is eligible?

    • Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States or the District of Columbia.
    • Open to all grade levels. 

     

    Just sign up and apply! That means no essay, no minimum GPA or income requirements. Just complete your portfolio and you’re in! The “No Sweat” Scholarship may be the easiest scholarship you apply to this year.

  • Lowell L. Bryan Scholarship (Athletic) - Davidson College

    • Scholar-athletes who are strong leaders and performers in the classroom and impact players at the NCAA Division-I level on one of our 18 eligible teams.

    GMHS can nominate up to 3 student athletes to apply for the Bryan Scholarship.

    Davidson awards two Bryan Scholarships, covering tuition and fees for four years, to one female and one male athlete in each incoming class.

  • UNC Charlotte Levine Scholars Program

    Who is eligible?

    • Applicants for freshman enrollment at UNC Charlotte.
    • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
    • Students must demonstrate a commitment to community service, hold an academic record that reflects a sustained passion for knowledge, and possess a capacity for ethical leadership that elevates fellow students to a higher standard.
    • While there are no minimum SAT, ACT or grade point averages to apply for the Levine Scholarship, students must excel academically.  
    • The average and middle-50 percent ranges for our 2021 finalists are below.

    Who is eligible?

    • Students attending college in Fall, 2022
    • Students who have DACA/TPS or are undocumented, meaning do not have lawful status in the US 
    • Strong preference will be given to applicants who are not eligible for in-state tuition. You can find more details by state here
    • Strong preference will be given to those who are interested in pursuing one of the following career paths: software engineering, nursing, data analytics, business analytics, and digital marketing

    We provide college scholarships to undocumented students pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

  • QuestBridge National College Match

    Who is eligible?

    • high school seniors who have shown outstanding academic ability 
    • U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents OR students, regardless of citizenship, currently attending high school in the United States
    • Evidence of strong writing ability, intellectual spark, and determination
    • Finalists typically come from households earning less than $65,000 annually for a typical family of four and have minimal assets, although this is not a strict cut-off 

    The QuestBridge National College Match can be your pathway to a top college. Through this college and scholarship application process, you can apply for free to the nation’s best colleges and be considered for early admission and a full four-year scholarship from the college.
