    • Unmarried and without children
    • GMHS Scholarship Committee requirements - minimum 4.0 weighted GPA and minimum of 4 AP/IB classes

  • Raleigh-Wake Chapter WSSU Alumni Scholarship

    • Any student who plans on attending Winston-Salem State University.
    • Students must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
    • Official high school transcript (sealed), an SAT score of 850 or higher, or an 18 or higher ACT score.
    • Students must also have two sealed letters of recommendation-(one from a school official & one from a nonrelative adult.

  • Rotary Club of the Capital City

    • All students are eligible but they are selected by the rotary club. Grades are important, but qualified students must be hard-working and productive students.
    • The scholarship committee will review all applicants carefully, conduct interviews with the top four (4) nominees, and announce two winners around early-May 2022.   • Couch Oil Cares Scholarship

    • Must be a resident of Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake, or Wilson County.
    • Must have been accepted to and registered as a 1st-year college student for the 2021-2022 school year (four-year or community college). 

    The Couch Oil Cares Scholarship Program is an effort to help local students with the costs of higher education. Again this year, Couch Oil is teaming up with the Durham Bulls to award scholarships to 6 deserving individuals.
