Parent Teacher Resource Center (PTRC) and the Louise Taff Production Area
Good news! The Parent Teacher Resource Center including the Production Area is open!
The Parent Teacher Resource Center at Project Enlightenment is open year-round Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. The PTRC offers a variety of resources including a library of books for adults and children, and a Production Area (adults only) to create materials to use with young children. Anyone that has or works with young children birth through Kindergarten age can find resources, that include but is not all-inclusive, on topics such as child development, parenting styles, discipline, self-regulation, social skills, sensory sensitivities, getting ready for kindergarten, as well as resources specifically for teachers on classroom environment, behavior, and activity planning. The Louise Taff Production Area is a great "maker" space located in the Parent Teacher Resource Center at Project Enlightenment. It is a working space for anyone, including parents, educators, and other professionals alike, that want to create learning and play materials for young children. The Production Area contains large tables to prepare your materials as well as two laminators, large paper cutters, bookbinding machines, Ellison Die Cut machines, and a large collection of Ellison Die Cuts. In addition, various other materials such as construction paper, poster board, markers, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, and more are available. Minimal user/materials fee may apply. This area is for ADULT USE only. The Production Area is open year-round Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
