The National Junior Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Eighth graders are inducted in the fall. Students will serve during their 8th grade year and are required to complete 10 hours of community service per semester.

*To be eligible, a current 8th grade student must have made the A Honor Roll all four quarters of their 7th grade year. Students who took a Math Acceleration class and achieved a four-quarter average of 85 or better will also be eligible. Grade point averages are not calculated for middle school students.
