Arrival
Green Elementary provides thirty minutes, from 8:45am until 9:15am for student drop off. Our instructional day begins promptly at 9:15am and continues until 4:00pm. Any child arriving to school at 9:15am or later is considered late and must be accompanied by a parent or adult into the building to sign-in at the main office.
Tardies
Children arriving to school at 9:15am or later are considered tardy and must report to the office with a parent or adult to sign in. The child will receive a tardy slip to present to the teacher upon arrival in the classroom.Appointments During the Day- Parents may sign a student out for an appointment by completing the sign out log in the main office. Upon parent arrival, staff will locate the student and call them to meet the parent in the office.
- Teachers may not dismiss students from the classroom without approval from the office.
- If a student returns to school the same day, parents must sign the student back in at the main office.
*** Due to the volume of calls to the office at the end of the day, students will not be dismissed between 3:30pm and 4:00pm*** Please plan to pick children up for appointments before or after this time.Dismissal
Students will not be dismissed between 3:30 and 4:00pm as this is our busiest time of day preparing for dismissal. Parents who arrive to check out a child after 3:30pm will be asked to wait for the ending dismissal bell at 4:00pm.
