Meet Fuller's Administrators
Mrs. Kendra Culberson, Principal
Kendra Culberson joined Fuller Magnet Elementary School as principal in January 2019. Ms. Culberson is a graduate of W. G. Enloe High School and North Carolina State University (BA - Middle Grades Language Arts and Social Studies 1994 & Master of School Administration 2003). Ms. Culberson has worked for the Wake County Public School System for 25 years as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, and principal. She was a finalist for WCPSS Principal of the Year in 2016. Ms. Culberson participated the NC Division of Principals and Assistant Principals "Distinguished Leadership in Practice" Program and the BB&T Leadership Institute. She is a presenter for the WCPSS Master Leadership Symposium. Ms. Culberson plays viola and is a founding member of the Triangle Youth Philharmonic. When not spending time with her amazing students at Fuller Magnet, Ms. Culberson enjoys traveling to the mountains and beach with her husband and two sons. She feels honored to work with our Fuller families, staff, and students every day!
Dr. Kenyann Stanford, Assistant Principal
Dr. Stanford has filled multiple roles at Fuller, including music and piano teacher and Magnet Coordinator, since 2008. She has served as Assistant Principal since 2014. She is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, and the East Carolina University School of Education. Dr. Stanford received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the East Carolina University School of Education, authoring a study focusing on equity in student discipline and the relationship between discipline gaps and academic achievement gaps. Four of Dr. Stanford's six children are Fuller alumni who continued their GT/AIG magnet journeys at Ligon Middle School and Enloe High School, and her two youngest are current Fuller students. Dr. Stanford's gifts and passions include piano, musical theatre, summer reading, kayaking, hiking and canoeing in state and national parks (but especially canoe camping in Algonquin National Park in Ontario, Canada), biking, college football, any sport or performance in which her kids or her students participate, and Fuller GT/AIG Magnet Elementary School!
Ms. Charelle Lovett, Administrative Intern
Our current administrative intern is Charelle Lovett -- a Raleigh native and former WCPSS student. Ms. Lovett earned an undergraduate degree in middle grades education, with a concentration in mathematics and social studies and a Master of Arts in instructional technology education from East Carolina University. She is currently working on her Master of School Administration degree at NC State University as an NC Principal Fellow. Ms. Lovett taught sixth- and seventh-grade math and social studies before stepping out of the classroom to serve her school community as an instructional facilitator. While in that role, Ms. Lovett worked on several instructional support teams and co-chaired the school’s equity leadership team. At the district level, Ms. Lovett has assisted with planning and implementing a young women’s summit for middle and high students.
