We have one month until Spring Break, please remind your student of the importance of attendance and keeping up with their academics.

Student Services
Course Registration
Last week the counselors started course registration. (2/11-3/18)
Current 11th graders need to sign up for their own registration meeting with their counselor. STUDENTS must schedule their appointment and must remember to attend their meeting. Students who do not schedule this appointment will have their schedules chosen for them.
Current 9th and 10th graders will be met with by a counselor during their 4th period class. The calendar listing the 4th period teacher schedule is posted here.
PRIOR to a student registration meeting they must have their course selection sheet filled out. Students can find their course selection sheet by grade level here.
Students should also watch their grade level video to assist in their selections.

Scholarships
THE TRENTINI COMMUNITY COLLEGE AWARD was established to help graduates from Wake Forest High School continue their education. Student applications are reviewed based on the following criteria:
-Evidence of positive character traits
-Cumulative un-weighted 2.5 GPA
-Participation in athletics is recommended. (Cheerleading, dance, and sports teams in school and/or community programs are acceptable).
-Participation in school and/or community activities
-Full-time attendance at a NC community college, junior college or trade school.
Award Amount: $1000 will be applied towards the tuition, fees, and books for a full-time student attending at least two semesters. Advanced Placement
Students that are CURRENTLY in an AP class need to register in AP classroom by the extended deadline of 3/5. If a student does NOT want to take the AP exam for their SPRING AP class, they must email lpike@wcpss.net, mcovington@wcpss.net and their parent by 3/5 stating what exam and why as well as that the parent must respond stating they agree with the choice.
WFHS Booster Club Spirit Day – Come out and support our Athletic Booster Club so they can support our teams. Thursday, March 20th Mod Pizza is supporting our school. Please see this link for details.

This exciting, bracket-style competition is designed to motivate students, boost attendance, and create some friendly competition among our 2nd-period classes!

Each Student must have 2 or fewer absences during the time period
