I hope everyone was safe in last week’s winter weather! It is hard to believe but it is time for Interims to go out. All students should receive an interim from their teachers this week.
Senior Information – Cap and Gown Delivery – Jostens will be on campus Wednesday, March 5th during lunch in the front lobby. If you still need to order your cap and gown please see the attached document.

ACT - All 11th grade students will participate in the state mandated ACT on March 20th. Please make sure that your 11th grade student is in attendance and on time (7:20am) for school on March 20.

Scholarships
The Trentini scholarship is also now active. Students can find the application on the Trentini website. The due date is 2/28. This is one $30,000 scholarship and 5 $1000 scholarships for students attending 4 year college and 1 $1000 scholarship for students attending trade/2 year/community college.
The TEAF Scholarship is for student to be considered for the scholarship, you must be a high school senior in one of the following counties Wake, Durham, Johnston, Orange, and Franklin, have Financial Need, Community Service, Academic Achievement, Involvement in Interscholastic Athletics, Outstanding leadership, Character, and Citizenship. The scholarship application is due to lpike@wcpss.net by 2/28.
Course Registration
Counselors started course registration. (2/11-3/13)
Current 11th graders need to sign up for their own registration meeting with their counselor. STUDENTS must schedule their appointment and must remember to attend their meeting. Students who do not schedule this appointment will have their schedules chosen for them.
Current 9th and 10th graders will be met with by a counselor during their 4th period class. The calendar listing the 4th period teacher schedule is posted here.
PRIOR to a student's registration meeting they must have their course selection sheet filled out. Students can find their course selection sheet by grade level here. Students should also watch their grade level video to assist in their selections.
