Good evening, WFHS Students and Families,
In Celebration of Martin Luther King Holiday there is no school tomorrow.
Tuesday, January 21st is a teacher workday and the first day of second semester is Wednesday, January 22. All students should report to Homeroom in order to receive their schedules along with registration information.
Report Cards – Report cards will be distributed to students on January 28th in 2nd period.

Curriculum Fair and Meet the Teacher Night – February 6th is our Curriculum night and Meet the Teacher Night. Please click on this link for details. Our staff will host break-out sessions for rising 9th graders, Career & College Promise at WTCC, Academy for Construction & Design Careers, and many clubs will hosting tables of information.
Join HOSA for National Wear Red Day – Please join us in wearing Red on February 7th in support for Heart Health Awareness.

Senior Fees – Senior fees may be paid. Please go to the Wake Forest High School Website, click on Families, then School Cash Online and finally Senior Dues Class of 2025. Senior fees cover diploma covers and graduation cost. This fee does not include cap, gowns, and tassels. All fees should be paid online. Note that you will need to register for an account using your student’s ID number the first time, then log in with your self-created username/password for all school payments moving forward.
Student Services
Students will receive their 2nd semester schedule in homeroom on Wednesday. There are no schedule changes for 2nd semester. All changes were to be made at the beginning of the school year. Counselors are however correcting schedules based on balancing class sizes and failed 1st semester courses.
Students will watch a video about the 25-26 course registration process in homeroom on Wednesday. They will also receive a copy of their course selection sheet and credit detail sheet. The videos will be posted on the student services course selection website by the end of the week for parents can review the information with their students.
Seniors- There are many scholarship applications due these next few months. Student services post many different scholarship opportunities on the scholarship calendar, linked here.
PTSA
Class of 2025 has a planning meeting January 28th @ 6pm in the media center. Breakfast on February 12, more details to follow!
We will also be providing a staff meal for our Meet the Teacher/Curriculum Night on February 6th. Attached is a signup genius for donations and/or volunteer opportunities for that evening .Staff Meal We would love for anyone to stop by our table to say hello!
