WFHS Principal Update - Week of November 4th

Good evening, WFHS Families,

Quarter 2 begins tomorrow and is a new start for grades. Please encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity. Report cards will be distributed on November 8^th.

Tuesday, November 5, is a teacher workday and next week, Monday, November 11^th is a Holiday. Students will not attend school either day.

Athletics – The Winter Sports Parent meeting will be held on November 4^th at 6:00 p.m. in the Lindsey Gymnasium. Please plan to attend if you have an athlete participating in Winter sports.

Student Services News

9th-11th Grade Parents' Night is scheduled for Thursday November 14, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Parents will have the opportunity to attend 3 sessions. Sessions will include promotion/graduation requirements, academic programs WFHS offers, and post high school opportunities related to college, career/employment, and military service. The schedule for the sessions are linked here!

Students interested in Wake Techs College and Career Promise Program have until 11/15 to apply to participate in the Spring 2025 semester. Accepted students can self-register for classes starting 11/4 until 12/1.
