WFHS Principal Update Week of May 27th

Good evening WFHS Students and Families,

Happy Memorial Day!! Monday, May 27^th is a holiday. It is hard to believe we are so near the end of the school year, and we only have a few class days left before exams begin. Please encourage your student(s) to complete all work and end the year successfully.

We have several events coming up which will showcase our students’ talents and hard work. Please see schedule below:

May 31^st  - Dance Concert in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Please see our website for ticket information.
June 1^st – Dance Concert in the auditorium at 2:00 p.m. Please see our website for ticket information.

As a reminder, WFHS is following the Clear Bag policy per WCPSS for the above performing arts events.

WFHS Technology, Engineering, and Design class needs your help! We need judges for our student's projects/presentation.  Do you work in a related career?

On Friday, May 31, 2024, at Wake Forest HS, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:40 p.m., our Technology Engineering and Design (TED) students are presenting their model-scale tiny house projects.  They have been tasked with designing and building an energy-efficient, model-scale tiny house.  Are you, and possibly other colleagues, willing to judge their designs, construction, and use of solar panels. (Students are utilizing Ohshape to design their houses. They are also using real solar panels.)  Also, if you know architects or other professionals who can judge, please pass along.

Tuesday, June 11: Senior Parade at Wake Forest Elementary from 12:00-1:30. Current Seniors who attended Wake Forest Elementary are invited to attend! Check your "Save the Date" email from Ms. Hinman for more details.

PTSA News

Help is still needed on the PTSA for the 2024-2025 school year! If you are interested in helping with Advocacy or Staff Grants we can use your help!! 

Athletic Booster News

The Athletic Booster Club will be having a Concession Closeout Sale to sell remaining inventory before summer.

All Items will be Half Off!
Cash preferred.  

May 28-31 : 2-4 pm
June 3-5 : 2-4 pm
June 6-7 : 9 am - 10:15 am & 11:45 am - 1:30 pm
June 10-12. : 9 am - 11:30 pm
