Panorama Family Survey
WCPSS is administering a Family Survey from April 8-May 17. The survey provides families the opportunity to provide valuable information used for planning and School Improvement.
We believe your feedback is important for creating and strengthening our partnership with families. Helping students do their best in school requires a team effort. Parents, students, and schools all play important roles in this process. Help us make your child's school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey.
The link to access the survey is: http://surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/family.
Student Services News
On FRIDAY 4/19 all students received updated teacher recommendations/verification sheet. The verification sheet will need to be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to their 2nd period teacher by Wednesday 4/24. This is students' ONLY chance at changing their requests based on preferences. Student schedules will not be changed at the start of the new school year, only corrected based on errors. Directions are on the back side of the form.
- If your student signed up for an AP course for next school year, an AP agreement form MUST also be turned in with their verification sheet (if they have not already turned it in) by Wednesday, 4/24.
- If your student is signing up for Wake Tech CCP classes, they should be turning in an Early Release/Late Arrival form by the end of the school year. As well as a Dual Enrollment form by the start of next school year.
- 12th graders only can ALSO turn in the Early Release/Late Arrival form for reasons other than Wake Tech CCP.
- ALL FORMS CAN BE FOUND HERE.
Students in 10th -12th grades with last names L-Ri: Ms. Peasley has left Wake Forest High School for other opportunities. Students/Parents in that caseload should contact our Dean of Students, Lisette Pike (lpike@wcpss.net) until a new counselor is hired in her place.

Last year we earned $5400 from this wonderful organization. So do some spring cleaning and take your gently used items to the giving tree. Do a little shopping while you're there too! We get points every time you donate or shop. Just tell them it's for WFHS!!
- Save the date – please come support Senior Class Activities! On May 2nd at Zaxbys from 5:00-8:00, 10% of all sales will be donated back to PTSA senior events.
Business Alliance
Help is needed for a Speed Networking Event on May 2 please consider giving an hour or two of your time to help with this event. No experience necessary!! Please use this link Speed Networking to get more information and sign up to help. This is your opportunity to help students practice introducing themselves and communicating for interviews!
Seniors and Senior Parents !! If you plan on attending college, whether 4 or 2 year, you should be filling out your FAFSA (pronounced Faf-sa). This is how you apply for scholarships, grants, work study, and loans to help pay for school. There is no harm or risk in applying, only accept what you need. Out of the 454 students in the senior class only 163 have filled out their FAFSA this year. In an effort to change that the Business Alliance is giving a weekly prize to someone that has completed their FAFSA. Fill out your fafsa at studentaid.gov today for a chance to be next week's winner!
Kind regards,
Melissa Thomas
