Good evening WFHS Students and Families,

We return from spring break tomorrow and the 3rd quarter will end on April 9th. Please check PowerSchool for your student’s grades.

Report cards will be distributed on April 19th.

Dress Code Reminders - WCPSS has a dress code for students. Please refer to this Dress Code Policy to review the policy specifics. Students who are not in compliance with the dress code may be asked to address the violation. Specifically, this policy addresses the following:

  • Students must wear clothing that covers their skin from chest to mid-thigh with opaque (non-see-through) fabric in front, back, ad on the sides.
  • Students must wear shoes at all times except when changing for physical education or athletic practices or events or when specifically directed otherwise by a teacher or administrator.
  • Clothing must cover undergarments (waistbands and straps excluded).
  • Breasts, genitals and buttocks must be covered with opaque (non-see-through) fabric.
  • Clothing must be suitable for all scheduled classroom activities including physical education, science labs, wood shop, and other activities where unique hazards exist.
  • Specialized courses may require specialized attire, such as sports uniforms or safety gear.
  • Head coverings (including hats, hoods, sweat bands, and bandanas) are generally prohibited in the school building.

Senior Cap and Gown Pickup – Parents if your student did not pick up their cap and gown regalia on March 19th you the parent can come and pick it up in the front office between now and May 3rd. Students may not come to the front office to pick it up.

There will be a second and final pick up day on May 6th. To guarantee delivery by that date students need to order by Monday, April 22nd.

Student Services News

The first round of course registration for the 24-25 school year is coming to an end. In late April all students will receive an updated teacher recommendation sheet as well as a verification sheet. The verification sheet will need to be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to student services. This is students' ONLY chance at changing their requests based on preferences. Student schedules will not be changed at the start of the new school year, only corrected based on errors.

Students in 10th -12th grades with last names L-Ri: Ms. Peasley has left Wake Forest High School for other opportunities. Students/Parents in that caseload should contact our Dean of Students, Lisette Pike (lpike@wcpss.net) until a new counselor is hired in her place.

Seniors- Have you been awarded a scholarship? Regardless of whether you are accepting it or not, you should submit the scholarship to WCPSS. Please do this by filling out the google form linked. Or by emailing Aburger@wcpss.net with the scholarship name, school/organization it is from, amount, if it is renewable, and if they are accepting it or not. WFHS Scholarship
