Student Services News

Student services will not have a schedule correction process for 2nd semester as all corrections should have been submitted at the start of the year. If a student feels that a correction is NEEDED for the below reasons, they can EMAIL their counselor. We do not have many open courses so students should not be requesting to change electives unless they do not have the prerequisite.

  • Level Error (Examples: Honors to AP, Beginning to Intermediate)
  • Sequence Error (Examples: Spanish 2 before 1, Intermediate before beginning, in Math 2 but failed Math 1)
  • Hole Error (Example: Missing a class, no 1st period class)
  • Taken the Course Before Error (example: In math 1 and have already passed it)
  • Graduation Requirement Error [12th graders only] (Example: Plan to attend 4-year college and need a foreign language, missing a core class needed)

Students that have late arrival NEED to pick up their late arrival pass on the first day of the semester at the attendance office. Reminder that students with late arrive need to come with enough time to park, walk to the front of the building, show your late arrival pass, and be to class on time.

The PTSA has many events coming up which will need many volunteers. Those volunteers must have clearance. Please complete the link to your volunteer registration.

There will be a Senior breakfast on February 14th (weather makeup day the 23rd). We are looking for volunteers from all grade levels to help with this event, as well as those who wish to donate. Please sign up on the signupgenius. We appreciate your help making this a great Senior event!

Feb.12th at 7:15pm in the media center is our next senior meeting and is open to anyone who would like to help.

January 31st is the last day to apply for the PTSA scholarships which will be awarded in May at the Senior award ceremony. We are giving out three $500 scholarships to our Wake Forest seniors!

Senior Fees – Senior Dues for the Class of 2024 are $60.00 and are collected to cover diploma covers and graduation cost. All financial obligations must be taken care of before seniors will receive graduation tickets. This fee does not include cap, gowns, and tassels.

In order to pay the senior fees please visit our website, select Families, then Oline School Payments, and finally select Senior Dues Class of 2024.

Kind regards,

Melissa ThomasWFHS Principal
