4.  Here's a reminder of an opportunity for any families with Middle School GIRLS:

Here is an upcoming middle school female empowerment conference, “She’s THAT Girl”, which will take place on May 18, 2024, at William Peace University.

‘She’s THAT Girl’ is designed to create a space for 100-120 middle school girls to be empowered through interactive breakout sessions that provide dialogue around topics that middle school aged girls typically struggle with, including mental and emotional health, self-confidence, friendships, relationships, peer pressure, identity, etc. The goal of this conference is to facilitate an environment that encourages these girls to connect, learn, reflect, grow, and be empowered in their journey while reminding them that they are indeed THAT Girl!

Here's the flyer with details.

7.  PTSA Updates:

CONGRATULATIONS to the Leesville Road Middle School Honors Band- scoring all Superior ratings at the Music Performance Adjudication (MPA) in March! We are so proud of Director Cristina Rekeibe & our talented musicians!

Our Assistant Principals are Amazing!!! April 1-5 is an Appreciation week to celebrate Phillip Vassallo (6th), Tonalisa Edmunds (7th), and Keisha Smith (8th)! This week the LRMS PTSA treated our three all-star assistant principals to a bagel brunch box to say Thank You for all you do for our Leesville Lions!

Help us keep the teacher lounges stocked this Spring to keep the LRMS Staff going into the 4th quarter! Have items sent directly to the school via our Amazon Wishlist! Or you can deliver similar items to the front office. Appreciation echoes through the halls when the Snack Fairy visits - that's all thanks to Leesville parents!
