Campus Visitors / Volunteer Registration
Parental involvement is the key to successful learning in a child’s life. We welcome all volunteers. All volunteers and visitors are required to obtain permission from the office upon entrance to the campus. All visitors must wear a visitor tag while on campus. Permission to visit is usually granted if the visitor is on official school business or the visit is necessary for the welfare of a student. With advance notice and the principal's permission, parents are welcome to visit classes or to eat lunch with their child. All volunteers must register with Wake County Public Schools online. This must be done every year. The registration process resets every July.
Previously registered volunteers need to “reactivate” their registration. This brief process can be completed in our Media Center (or any WCPSS facility). Clearance results for chaperoning field trips may take up to two and a half weeks for approval. Prior approval is mandatory.
