Originally from Michigan, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Central Michigan University with a Major in Family Relations and Minors in Child Development and Psychology. After a few years I decided to get my Masters in Education and was fortunate enough to get a Graduate Assistant position at Kent State University in Ohio. As I earned my Masters in Early Childhood Education, I worked at The Child Development Center on the KSU campus—an opportunity I am still so thankful for! A number of jobs in the preschool field, ten years at home with four boys, and a move to North Carolina brought me to Leesville! I am happy to say this will be my 17th year teaching first grade at Leesville!

I love the Leesville community and all of my boys graduated from LRHS. We enjoy spending time as a family and I love my time with my five sweet grandsons! I look forward to another amazing year in first grade!
