Biogen Community Lab Summer Program
Applications are now open for our *TWO* 2023 Summer programs. This is the first summer where we will have both a local, in-person program in our RTP, NC lab and our global virtual program in collaboration with MIT. Carnegie Mellon's Pre-College Programs offers world-class instruction on a beautiful university campus! We invite you to learn more about our programs and how they can help your students prepare for the college experience while exploring their educational and career options. Our programs vary in length and all offer scholarships. Programs begin in July 2023.
Chowan University CampapaloozaCampapalooza is a 5-day academic summer camp for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Duke Pre-College for Grades 6 to 11
Duke Pre-College Programs provide academically motivated middle and high school students with rigorous learning experiences. Building on the legacy of Duke University programs, including Youth Programs and the Talent Identification Program (TIP), Duke Pre-College Programs inspire and challenge the next generation of problem-solvers. Our diverse selection of courses is designed to bring the Duke experience to current 6th-11th graders through cutting-edge topics featuring Duke guest speakers, researchers and resources. Duke Mathematics' Annual Summer Workshop in Math (SWiM2023) is a free in-person workshop for high school students who are interested in mathematics, from June 10 to June 17 at Duke University. All students currently in their junior year of high school who are citizens of and reside in the US are eligible. Female and female-identifying students are encouraged to apply. Guilford College Rise

Apply to Guilford College Rise, a three-week residential experience where they'll live and learn on the Guilford College campus in Greensboro, N.C. This year's dates are June 25 through July 14, 2023, and applications are being accepted. We look forward to getting to know you this summer at GC Rise.
Landmark College Summer Programs
Any high school or college-age student who dreams of being a more confident and better prepared learner is invited to explore the summer programs at Landmark College. Financial aid is available in most programs to qualifying students, and a diagnosed learning disability is not required to participate in our summer programs. Programs offered include the following:
Lehigh UniversityWe are excited to share that we are accepting applications from current high school sophomores and juniors for our Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive (IGEI)! This program will be hosted on Lehigh's campus from June 25 – July 22, 2023 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Through the entrepreneurship intensive, they'll be able to do a dive deep into focus areas like sustainability, population health or business. After that date, we will admit qualified applicants on a rolling basis until the program maximum is reached.
Marist Summer Pre-College ProgramThe Marist Summer Pre-College Program gives rising juniors and seniors the opportunity to take hands-on college-level courses in a variety of subject areas, learn from experienced faculty, and earn 3 transferable college credits. Miami University of Ohio Summer Scholars Program
The Miami University Summer Scholars Program is an opportunity for academically talented rising high school juniors and seniors to spend one week on Miami's campus exploring a topic of their choice alongside our leading faculty and professional experts. NC State University Undergraduate Admissions hosts three pre-college programs for rising juniors and seniors to learn about higher education opportunities and cultural reinforcement. This is for students to find and build a strong sense of community while also preparing for the college application process and university experience. CAMINOS: Your Journey to College is geared towards students who identify as Hispanic or Latinx or have an interest in the culture. The program will be held from June 18-22. Native Education Forum is geared towards students who identify as Native American or American Indian or have an interest in the culture. The program will be held from June 18-24. Emerging Scholars Academy is geared towards students who identify as Black or African American or have an interest in the culture. The program will be held from June 25-July 1.All summer programs will be in person, and students will stay in residence halls for their participation. Please encourage students to apply if they have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.4 or higher or are in the top 15% of their class and are interested in pursuing college. The Red Hat Shelton Challenge is a six-day residential enrichment program designed to teach high school students leadership concepts such as ethical decision-making, effective communication, goal setting and more. Students will participate in team-building exercises like low-high ropes courses, service projects and social activities in the evenings. Each student must submit a 2023 Red Shelton Challenge application along with two references. Students are assigned their program week based on availability and preference once their application and references have been submitted.
This event is hosted by The Shelton Leadership Center (SLC). The SLC is committed to positively impacting values-based leadership behavior in youth from pre-college, through university and beyond. NC State shares those same values and wants to help enhance their capabilities to become better leaders.
NC State Catalyst (Summer 2023 and School Year 2023-2024)
Catalyst is a high school program designed to create STEM opportunities for students with disabilities. Students learn STEM content and skills through hands-on labs and research, participate in STEM field trips, mentoring opportunities, and internships, improve workforce readiness and soft skills, and explore STEM educational pathways and careers. Catalyst also provides students job exploration counseling, workplace readiness training, work-based learning experiences, counseling on postsecondary options, and development in self-advocacy. Catalyst recruitment will begin in January 2023 for Summer 2023 and School Year 2023-2024.
NC State: VetCAMP
Application opens January 27th 2023 at 9:00am. Camp Dates: • Week 1: June 19th - 23rd (Virtual) • Week 2: June 26th - 30th (In-person) • Week 3: July 10th - 13th (In-person).
Eligibility: rising high school sophomores through rising college freshmen*.
Activities include: Learning about the basics of a small animal clinic, Hands-on experience with pigs, sheep, and horses at the Animal Education Units, Anatomy and Suture Labs, A tour of the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, Meeting current NCSU pre-veterinary and NCSU CVM DVM students.

Parsons Paris Summer Program 2023
Summer is a perfect time for motivated high school students to start thinking about college. Parsons Paris’ application period for summer is now open. Pratt Pre-College Program
As one of the world's top-ranked art, design, and architecture colleges, Pratt is the place for students to explore principles of design, get immersed in fine art, and build a portfolio of artwork. For those intending to pursue studies in art, design, architecture, or a related area, this is a valuable chance to build the portfolio of work that will serve as an important component of their college application process. This July, Pratt PreCollege students will explore creative careers and develop their artistic skills with support from experienced faculty. The month-long experience combines college-level courses and cultural enrichment opportunities for high school students on our picturesque Brooklyn campus. Courses allow students a unique opportunity to be immersed in the creative process and get a sneak peek into the undergraduate experience at Pratt Institute. Summer applications are due March 1st!

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Program 2023
Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies strives to enhance the education of motivated, intellectually curious, pre-college students. This summer, we are offering several online and residential academic enrichment programs. Our programs feature a wide variety of disciplines—including business, computer science, humanities, math, science, social justice, and more—allowing students to investigate advanced topics beyond the typical high school curriculum. Stevens Institute of Technology Summer Program 2023The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology is offering a paid virtual summer research program for high school students. In this six-week program, students will have the opportunity to work alongside a faculty member from the School of Business and assist them with research in their area of study such as management, leadership or finance. The final assignment will include a PowerPoint presentation detailing their research findings. The program will run from July 1, 2023, through August 12, 2023, and students will receive a $500 stipend after completing the program.University of Chicago Summer Session

UNC Summer Jazz Workshop is a UNC Summer School course that is a partnership between UNC Summer School, the Department of Music, and the School of Media and Journalism. The workshop is a 3.0 credit hour course that runs Monday-Friday June 26-30, 2023, and is available to students who are musicians, as well as to students who are not performers who wish to participate in the music journalism/jazz history classes. Rising high school seniors apply as “visitors” to UNC Summer School to earn the 3.0 college credit hours on their transcripts. Campus housing and meal plans are available. The Yale Summer Program in Astrophysics is a selective four-week research and enrichment program for rising seniors who are especially interested in physics, math, and astronomy. Georgetown University is launching its new Pre-College Online Program, offering courses that enable high school students 13 and older to explore subjects they may wish to study in college. Each features dynamic video lessons by renowned Georgetown faculty and live sessions with university mentors. Meredith STEM College is a unique opportunity for 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade women to explore and develop their science interests. Students selected for the program participate in six in-person weekend workshops and a two-week residential summer experience on Meredith’s campus. They also earn three college credits and connect with peers, faculty, and professionals who share their interests.
NC A&T Dowdy Outreach ProgramWe offer tutoring and college prep to high school students looking to pursue a higher education. We have Saturday Virtual Outreach sessions where students can get free SAT/ACT prep, college prep, advice on how to get scholarships, and insight on life as a student at North Carolina A&T. Junior Curators are volunteers with an intense interest in conservation, animal care and field biology. Junior Curators directly support the Museum’s conservation efforts by participating in educational programs and events, field experiences to natural areas, natural history service projects and assisting in the care of the Museum’s live animal collection. Students work together with like-minded peers for the duration of their volunteer experience.
