I would like to ENROLL my student for the 24-25 school year
Enrolling your Student for the 24-25 School Year:Step 1:- Your online application should be completed FIRST by going to the WCPSS Enrollment page and following the enrollment steps.
- If you have questions about your child's base school assignment, information can be found here.
Step 2:- Once the Office of Student Assignment has processed your enrollment and assigned you to our school, school staff will review your submission and contact you with next steps.
- Please wait for information from Apex High School regarding the completion of the enrollment process. You will receive either a call or an email from Mrs. Feingertz regarding setting up an enrollment meeting.
- Note: we are unable to view your student's enrollment information until after your student has been assigned to our school. This process is not immediate, and it takes time for the Office of Student Assignment to review your enrollment and assign it to a school. We appreciate your patience with the process.
Step 3:- The remaining new student enrollment paperwork is completed by appointment only.
- Contact the Registrar, Tammy Feingertz, at 919-387-2208, Ext. 27214 or tfeingertz@wcpss.net if you have questions regarding scheduling an appointment.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany the student for registration. If you are not the parent or legal guardian of the student and the student is living with you, or if you are the student and wish to register yourself, please call the Office of Student Assignment at 919-431-7333. -

I am WITH A SCHOOL and need to REQUEST RECORDS for a student/former student
In an effort to provide an enhanced and more secure service for our transfer students, ALL records requests for former students of Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) must be made online using our new student record request system, K12 Transfer, by Scribbles Software. Fax, phone calls, emails, and mail will no longer be accepted.
NOTE: This is NOT to be used for students who have already graduated. Records requests for graduated students must be submitted at wcpss.scriborder.com and are fulfilled by the WCPSS Central Records Department.Scribbles is a secure, self-service application that requires the following steps:• Site Access. Go to https://transfer.scriborder.com.• Account Creation. Each person requesting records from Wake County Public School System is required to set up an account. You must use your school emailaddress. Personal email addresses will not be accepted.• Verification. Once the account is set up, a verification process takes about 24 hours to complete. You will receive an email notification once your account isverified. You only need to be verified once, and then you may submit as many requests as you need.• Submit Request. When you receive the “verification complete” email notification, you are then able to log in to the K-12 Transfer application and submit your requests to Wake County Public Schools. We enforce this verification process to keep students safe.
We will then fulfill your records request!Downloading: When you receive the “processing complete” email, you can login to the K-12 Transfer application (Scribbles) to download the student record(s) you requested.Should you have any issues setting up your account, questions about the process, or want to know more about the product, please contact support@scribsoft.com.
Thank you!
