How do CCP courses impact my high school GPA?
College Transfer Pathway: Courses 3SHC (Semester Hour of Credit) and above carry 1 extra quality point added towards the high school GPA. Courses taken under this pathway WILL be added to your high school transcript, regardless of the grade received.
Career & Technical Education - Courses 3SHC and above carry the added point value referenced in the highlighted chart below regarding GPA (Standard = 0 added, Honors = .5 added, College/AP = 1 point added). Courses taken under this pathway WILL be added to your high school transcript, regardless of the grade received. (Click here to review the course weights)
You may review the NCDPI Master List for more information about course weighting regarding GPA. ***Any courses not listed on one of these 2 credit options links are not eligible for inclusion on the AHS transcript. Please reach out to your counselor with any questions.***
