    • The Levine Scholars Program seeks outstanding high school seniors who are eager to embark on a transformative college experience. Requirements include:

      • Students must be nominated by a high school counselor/college advisor or submit a self-nomination.
      • Students must be applicants for first-year enrollment at UNC Charlotte in an undergraduate program for the fall term immediately following their high school graduation. Note: Students must be admitted to UNC Charlotte to receive a Levine Scholarship.
      • Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

      • Pell-eligible
      • A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
      • In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

    Who is eligible?

    • Any high school senior, regardless of citizenship, currently attending high school in the U.S. and planning to attend college in the fall after their senior year is eligible to apply. Additionally, U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents living abroad are eligible. International students living outside the U.S. are not eligible. 
    • Students attending high school in the U.S. as undocumented or international students are eligible to apply, but should review Additional Citizenship Requirements to see which QuestBridge college partners will consider them for the Match Scholarship.
    • Through the National College Match, high-achieving high school seniors from low-income backgrounds can apply for early admission and full four-year scholarships to the nation’s best colleges. We review all applications holistically, and there are no absolute criteria or cut-offs for GPA, standardized test scores, income, or other factors. Take this chance to dream big.

      • North Carolina

    • Have one of the following documentation or immigration statuses:

    • Demonstrate high financial need.

    • Have graduated or will graduate from a United States high school (or have earned or will earn a high school equivalency diploma).

    • Live in the United States for at least four (4) years prior to applying for the Golden Door Scholarship.

    • Have an unweighted high school GPA of 3.2.

    • Be willing to relocate to and enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program.

    • Be willing to pursue a major aligned with Golden Door Scholars’ preferred majors list
