How to Apply to Vernon Malone College and Career Academy
Vernon Malone College and Career Academy (VMCCA) is an application school that focuses on graduating all students on-time, and college and career ready in one of seven CTE programs. Rising 9th graders are eligible to apply for the 2020-2021 school year. Students must apply to a specific CTE program; they may apply to as many as three programs.
Complete the Early College application. The application will be available online at www.wcpss.net
If a student is selected, he or she will receive a permanent assignment to the Vernon Malone College and Career Academy. Students who are selected for the school will not have the option to decline the assignment in the school or specific CTE program for which they applied. For this reason, students should carefully consider their interest and commitment to the CTE program before applying.
