The Project SEARCH program is a unique one-year school-to-work program specifically for Wake County Public School System high school students with disabilities whose goal is competitive employment.
The application deadline for Early College programs such as Vernon Malone College and Career Academy is Dec. 16.
Overall, only about 1% of Wake County Public School System students will be impacted in each of the two years of this plan.
Wake County magnet schools create well-rounded students by challenging them with programs tailored to their strengths and exposing them to new experiences. Innovative and pioneering programs challenge students to think creatively and analytically to solve problems.
