• Tech Thursdays are professional development sessions designed to get you moving with classroom technology tools. Sessions are normally held in the Media Center. Bring a charged laptop (or iPad, if the session requires it) to participate. No sign up required. Renewal CEU partial credit is available, if you meet the requirements. Talk with our school Tech Facilitator if you're interested in renewal credit. Each session includes 30 minutes of training and 15 minutes of application work time. Meet in the Technology Office in the Media Center.

    Learn how to record video and perform simple editing using an iPad
    November 17 - Google Cardboard Virtual Reality - Bring Your Own Smart Phone
    Explore the world in virtual reality. Note you'll need to provide your own personal smart phone, and you may want install apps during this session. This will be a tool used with BYOD devices only, not with school-owned devices.
    December 15 - Socrative & Kahoot - Bring Your Laptop
    Get immediate responses from your students using these audience polling tools designed for classrooms.
    January 19 - Google Forms - Bring Y our Laptop
    Gather information from web visitors - or create online assessments.
    February 16 - 3-D Printing and Sketchup - Bring Your Laptop
    Learn how to design 3-D objects that can be printed in plastic on our 3-D printer.
    March 16 - Virtual Whiteboard Presentations - Bring School-owned iPad
    Use an iPad to record presentations using a whiteboard app.
    April 20 - Digital Video Content & Tools - Bring Your Laptop
    An overview of digital video content available to you, as well as helpful tools to use with them.
