This message is from Gary Duvall the proud principal of Holly Springs High School. Below you will find the Hawks Connection for the week of 9/1-9/5. We have enjoyed a great first week back to school with our students and we are looking forward to an even better week ahead. Please take a moment to review the Hawks Connection, our weekly communication designed to keep students and families informed about important school updates, events, and announcements throughout the year.
Labor Day Holiday - As a reminder, Monday September 1 is a holiday and there will be no school on this day.
All Timely Sign Up Reminder - As we kickoff HOT lunch this week, please be sure that students are signing up each evening before 8 p.m. for the next day's lunch. All students have the window to sign up from the beginning of A lunch through 8 p.m. Students will need to designate where they will be for both A and B lunch.
Holly Springs High School Open House - We invite all families to join us for our annual Open House on Thursday, September 25 from 5-7 p.m.. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your student’s teachers, learn more about classroom expectations, and see the exciting learning experiences happening this year. We look forward to connecting with you and strengthening the home–school partnership that supports our students’ success. As we get closer to the event we will have additional information regarding the schedule for the evening and other pertinent information.
Driver Education Signup has begun. Students can go to jordandriving.com for more information. Classes will fill up quickly. If you have questions, email hollysprings@jordandriving.com. You must be at least 14 ½ on or before the first day of class.
Infinite Campus Sign Up - If any parent doesn't have access to their parent portal account or is having issues accessing it, please email our Data Manager, Ms. Dawes at adawes2@wcpss.net.

Weekly Email/Text Message will be sent a minimum of every Sunday. If you have not received one yet, please email Ms. Dawes (adawes2@wcpss.net) so that she can update your information.
Bus Assignment Update - We want to acknowledge and apologize to those of you still waiting on the bus service for your student. We understand how frustrating this delay can be and appreciate your continued patience.
Our team has been working diligently to submit all transportation requests as we receive them. However, a high volume of requests across the district has resulted in longer processing times. We are actively collaborating with our transportation department to ensure that all eligible students are assigned to a bus route as quickly as possible.
Please know that bus assignments are being made daily, and families are being notified as soon as their student is assigned. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to Assistant Principal Mr. Harris at wharris5@wcpss.net. Thank you for your understanding and support during this transition.
