My name is Courtney Leute (pronounced loot). I live in Youngsville, NC, but I am originally from Rochester, NY. I am married and have two daughters, Kamdyn and Everly. I also have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Freya.  I love Broadway musicals, and I've seen over 200 shows in my lifetime!  I also enjoy traveling with my family. My favorite thing to do is be a "Swim Mom." Both of my daughters are elite swimmers and my oldest daughter has traveled all over the East coast for Championship Swim Meets! I love watching them compete in swim!

I have been teaching for over 20 years and love watching students grow and learn throughout the year. My favorite subject to teach is writing. I enjoy going through the structure of writing and seeing students' personalities shine in their writing.
