My name is Lucy Sook and I love being a part of the 1st grade team! I am originally from Mississippi and earned my degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from Ole Miss. Over the years, I have taught 4th and 5th grades, a 3rd/4th multi-age class and Kindergarten. This is my 6th year in first grade. Having been at Sanford Creek since 2013, my favorite thing is building relationships with families! Watching kids grow and teaching siblings is so fun!

Outside the classroom, I love spending time with my family and supporting NCSU athletics! My husband, Kevin, and I have 3 girls that have all graduated from NCSU and live close by, so we see them often. I also enjoy reading and walking in my spare time.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year full of learning, growing and fun!
