HI! My name is Allison Toler, and I am so excited to be part of the Kindergarten team at Sanford Creek Elementary. This year is my 23rd year of teaching. I have taught 14 years in first grade and nine years in Kindergarten. I love giving young people their first experience in school. It is important to establish their love of learning and a strong foundation in reading, writing and math. I want every child to leave my classroom knowing they are loved and ready for the next adventure.

 

I was born and raised in Moultrie, Georgia. I have spent my teaching career in North Carolina. I have been married to my husband Frank for 23 years, and we have two children, Sophia (14) and Ben (18). Sophia will be a high school freshman, and my son will be attending UNC Chapel Hill. 

 

 Outside of school, I enjoy walking my Goldendoodle Murphy and spending as much time reading as possible. My ideal day would be sitting in a comfy chair with my dog beside me reading a book.
