Hi there! I’m Mrs. Taylor, and I’m excited to be starting my 7th year as the school counselor here at SCE!!

I’m a proud mom to two amazing girls, one starting 6th grade and the other in 2nd, which means I juggle everything from middle school mood swings to missing socks on the daily. I’m also married to a very patient man who puts up with my overflowing book collection and movie marathons.

Our family mascot is Oakley, our Bernedoodle, who believes he’s a lap dog despite being the size of a small bear. His hobbies include stealing snacks, blocking doorways like a furry bouncer, and pretending he doesn’t know his name when he’s being called to come in from outside.

When I’m not at school supporting our awesome students, I love heading to the beach, curling up with a good book (thrillers are one of my favorites!), watching movies, and spending time with the people (and dog) I love most.
