• Greetings Holly Springs High School Families,

    This message is from Gary Duvall the proud principal of Holly Springs High School regarding the Weekly Update for 5/5/25 through 5/9/25.  For teacher appreciation week, we hope you will take the opportunity to thank all of our wonderful teachers for all that they do each day for our Hawks!  Thank you for all of your support and we are ready for a great week ahead. 

    Panorama Survey - Helping students do their best in school requires a team effort. Parents, students, and schools all play important roles in this process. Help us make your child's school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our Holly Springs High School family survey from April 7 - May 16.  surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/family

    AP Exams - AP Exams begin next week on Monday, May 5th.   Students should reference the AP Exam Schedule posted on the HSHS website.  If you have a morning exam, please arrive to your location by 7:30 am for check in.  For afternoon exams, please arrive by 11:30 am.  Late students will not be permitted to test.  

    Students should remember to bring a fully charged WCPSS Chromebook.  If your exam requires other items such as calculators, please check with your AP Teacher for any specific items you may need.

    Chorus Concert - The Holly Springs Chorus Spring Concert is Friday, May 9th, with performances at 4:30 and 7:30 PM. Come on out and support the arts! The ticket order link is on the chorus website -

    Graduation Meeting - There will be a MANDATORY graduation meeting on May 21 right after your Senior Breakfast. You will need to be at HSHS at 8 am for Breakfast, the meeting will start at roughly 8:45 am. During the meeting, we will be reviewing graduation details, practicing names, graduation tickets, getting your Senior T-shirt, and much more. Just a reminder that the Senior Handbook has a lot of details about the Graduation Ceremony! EACH SENIOR WILL BE GIVEN 9 TICKETS FOR GRADUATION. Please reach out to Ms. Prue if you have a guest who will need a handicapped access seat for the graduation. Her email is eprue@wcpss.net

    Morehead-Cain Scholarship for the Class of 2026  - If you are interested in applying to this scholarship, please follow these instructions carefully and pay close attention to the deadlines. 

    Here is a bit about the scholarship program:

    You can self-nominate or seek HSHS's nomination. 

    If you would like to apply for our nomination please follow these directions:

    2. Write a one-page essay on how you have incorporated the UNC Morehead-Cain pillars (Leadership, Scholarship, Moral Force of Character, and Physical Vigor) into your 4 years at Holly Springs High School.

    3. Please submit these two items to Ms. Jones by May 30th at 2:30 pm.
