Hello Everyone! I am Candise Bright, I am very excited to be the Health & Fitness Teacher.  I am originally from San Diego, California, but was raised mostly in Durham, NC.  I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a B.S in Athletic Training. 

In 2009, I moved back to California and worked as an Instructional Assistant in the Special Education department and as the school Athletic Trainer at a local High School.  I loved my job.  I love the ability to be a positive impact in a child's life.  To this day, I stay in contact with many of my former students and athletes.  

I moved back to NC in 2015, that's when I began working at Leesville in the now ECS classrooms.  I was able to transition from Special Ed to Health & Fitness in November 2019.  I love my school, the staff, and most of all the students.  I look forward to continuing building strong relationships with the students.
