• Club Description

The purpose of this club is to give middle school students the opportunity to start thinking about what they might want to do in the future and explore the different careers and fields that they can pursue. This club can help students make well-informed choices about what courses they want to take in high school (i.e. Electives, AP Classes, Joining AOE, etc.), whether they already have a career goal in mind or are still figuring things out. Our ultimate goal is to make sure they have all the support and resources needed to lay the foundation for their goals and endeavors beyond school. The primary activities of the Purpose Finders club involves middle school career and course education sessions. These will involve in-depth, engaging demonstrations that allow middle school students to explore different careers they might want to pursue. In addition to these sessions, the club is also planning to hold one informative event per academic year that offers middle school students and their parents the opportunity to connect with professionals of various careers, listen to guest speakers, and practice crucial networking skills.
