The purpose of the 5K Club will be to encourage students to be physically active, to instill the importance of working towards a goal, and to have fun. The 5k Club will allow the students to train to run/walk a 5k. We will practice together 2-3 days per week and will encourage students to practice additional days on their own according to a training schedule provided. After training, students will participate in a 5K.
