Club Description
The Project LIT Community is a national, grassroots LITeracy movement started by a group of Nashville TN students and their teacher, Jarred Amato. Our AFMS Project LIT Book Club will empower students as READERS and LEADERS and will work together to flood our school with culturally relevant books. We will meet to discuss books we've read from the Project LIT Book Club list and will celebrate reading while developing our authentic reading identities. Ultimately, we want to improve literacy attitudes and outcomes, one book and one conversation at a time while helping our students become lifelong leaders (information taken from Project LIT Twitter info).
