Mrs. Ziada Brandt

I am excited to teach AIG here at Jeffreys Grove Elementary!

My Background: Both my parents are from Egypt and my step mother is from Venezuela. I was born in Pennsylvania and have lived both in the US and overseas. I am tri-ligual in English, Arabic, and Spanish.

Education: I graduated from Washington State University in 1996 with a degree in Psychology and a double minor in Sociology and Spanish. I went to graduate school to get my Master's in Teaching in 2001, and have been teaching ever since. I am certified to teach K-6, K-12 Spanish, K-12 Reading Specialist, and AIG. I am National Board Certified. I am starting my 20th year of teaching, 5th year of teaching AIG.

About Me: My husband and I moved to NC 15 years ago from WA. I have 2 sons Zakariya (Ziko) who is 17 years old and in 12th Grade at Heritage High, and Bassil who is 13 and is in 8th grade at Ligon Middle.

I love to travel all over the world and experience new things, go camping, boating, read, and play games with my family and friends.

I look forward to an amazing year!
