    When does Kindergarten registration open?

    What world language will my child be assigned?

    World Language is self selected by the parents at the time of registration. There are 4 native Spanish speaking teachers and 1 native Mandarin speaking teacher. World Language classes offer experiences in the community with native speakers.

    What does it mean that mean that Green is a Title I school?

    The Title I program in Wake County provides supplementary instructional support in the areas of reading and math. Schools qualify for Title I funding by demonstrating economic need among its population.
    All Title I eligible schools in WCPSS operate under the schoolwide model. This means that Title I funds may be used, with other school funding sources, to provide supports to all students so that they may meet our high academic standards. Title I is a federally funded program that is one component of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015.

    Green is a Positivity Project School. What's Positivity Project?

    The Positivity Project is an initiative that equips people with the tools to build positive relationships. It emphasizes the notion that other people matter. Students learn about character strengths and foundations of building relationships.
