I'm looking forward to joining SCORE Academy! I began my teaching career in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2001, and I moved to North Carolina in 2008. I taught at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School for 10 years before moving to Apex Friendship High School in 2018. Though social studies was my specialty for the first 22 years of my career, I served as the ALC Coordinator at AFHS from 2023-2025. I'm excited about my role as our school's Health & Physical Education teacher, and I'm passionate about helping students achieve their goals....both here at SCORE and beyond!
