Mrs. Dana King - Principal

I graduated from Miami University (of Ohio) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and received my Masters in School Administration from Xavier University. I have taught middle school language arts and high school English in Ohio, Massachusetts, and California before coming to North Carolina where I have spent the bulk of my administrative career. I became principal of Millbrook in 2003 but I have always lived in the Millbrook district, both of my children graduated from this school. I have had the privilege of assembling one of the strongest most effective administrative teams and have hired every department chair except Mrs. Putnam (I wish I could take credit for her!).

I am proud of the students we serve, the parents who support us, and the teachers who give tirelessly to our students every day. I am most proud to be a Wildcat.
