Greeting to all,

As most of you know I have chosen to retire this December (18) from teaching.  As I prepare to leave I am working on grades to make sure that Ms. Baker, the new teacher, will take over with a fresh start. Ms. Baker is an experienced educator from Athens Drive High School.  I am giving students multiple reminders and opportunities to make up work and improve test grades.  Before I leave the grades will be accurate and final.

It has been a real pleasure teaching your children this year and I will miss them all.

I will offer access to this website to Ms. Baker so that she can continue using it if she so desires, otherwise I am sure she will be in touch soon with any changes.

This week we will review for and take the Unit 3 test. Then, we take a little break after the test and watch part of Dante's Peak, a real hollywood movie about a volcano. It has a lot of good science in it.

I decided to NOT do an open note quiz, and so your Unit 3 notebook is due immediately after you take the test.
