MECME Families,

We have a little more than three weeks left in the school year, MECME! You should have received interim reports last week – reach out to your child’s teacher if you did not. Please remember there is no school next Monday, May 27, in recognition of the Memorial Day holiday.

Outside Treats – We have noticed an increase of families bringing sweet treats to celebrate student birthdays. While we want to celebrate our students, outside food for other students can present several issues. Instead, please consider coming to eat lunch with your child. If you would like to include the class in the celebration, consider non-food items, and always contact the teacher first. Thanks for your support!

EOG Dates – All students in grades 3-5 will take EOGs soon. EOG dates have been added to the website calendar and can also be found in the April 28 family update.

Save the Date (6/6) – Our spring “Celebration of Learning” event will be held on Thursday, June 6, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. We will be celebrating your child's hard work this year with classroom visits and activity stations. Details will be shared in future updates and from your child’s teacher.

Nos quedan poco más de tres semanas en el año escolar, ¡MECME! Debería haber recibido informes provisionales la semana pasada, comuníquese con el maestro de su hijo si no lo hizo. Recuerde que no habrá clases el próximo lunes, 27 de mayo, en reconocimiento del feriado del Día de los Caídos.

Golosinas al aire libre - Hemos notado un aumento de familias que traen dulces para celebrar los cumpleaños de los estudiantes. Si bien queremos celebrar a nuestros estudiantes, la comida externa para otros estudiantes puede presentar varios problemas. En su lugar, considere venir a almorzar con su hijo. Si desea incluir a la clase en la celebración, considere artículos que no sean alimentos y siempre comuníquese primero con el maestro. ¡Gracias por tu apoyo!

Fechas de EOG – Todos los estudiantes en los grados 3-5 tomarán EOG pronto. Las fechas de EOG se han agregado al calendario del sitio web y también se pueden encontrar en la actualización familiar del 28 de abril.

Reserve la fecha (6/6) – Nuestro evento de primavera "Celebración del aprendizaje" se llevará a cabo el jueves 6 de junio de 5:00 a 7:00 p.m. Celebraremos el arduo trabajo de su hijo este año con visitas a las aulas y estaciones de actividades. Los detalles se compartirán en futuras actualizaciones y por parte del maestro de su hijo.
