2025 Broughton Capital Foundation Richard Jenrette & Richard M. Jewell Teaching Excellence Awards: The Broughton Capital Foundation’s Richard Jenrette and Richard M. Jewell Teaching Excellence Awards are designed to promote, recognize and retain excellence in teaching at Broughton High School. These awards are presented to Broughton faculty who exhibit the highest caliber of the teaching profession. Each year, the committee selects recipients to honor after engaging in a nomination, application and interview process with candidates. It is my pleasure to announce that this year we have six Richard M. Jewell Teaching Excellence Award recipients and one Richard Jenrette recipient. Our six Richard M. Jewell Teaching Excellence Award winners will each receive a $1,500 monetary award from the Broughton Capital Foundation. Our Richard M. Jewell Teaching Excellence Award winners for 2025 are:   Ms. Cox, Ms. Wint, Ms. Walden, Ms. Longrie, Ms. Tyler, and Mr. Schmidt.  It is also my pleasure to announce our one Richard Jenrette Teaching Excellence Award winner. This individual was selected for his exceptional and long-lasting dedication and commitment to Broughton High School. Our Richard Jenrette Teaching Excellence Award winner will receive a $3,000 monetary award from the Broughton Capital Foundation. Our 2025 Richard Jenrette award winner is: Mr. Edwin Davis!  Please join me in congratulating these outstanding Broughton Teachers!
