Silver Hawks,

I wanted to let you know that, at last night’s WCPSS School Board Meeting, I was appointed to be the founding principal of the district's newest high school: Wake Early College of Information and Biotechnologies. I will be leaving VMCCA for this new position in January 2022. 

This is a bittersweet moment; I am beyond excited and honored to be entrusted with this role. However, I will miss VMCCA and all the people that work to make the school such a great place for students. The help and support of parents and families are a significant part of the school's success and I am so thankful for all that you have done, and will continue to do, to support VMCCA.

Quería hacerles saber que, en la reunión de la Junta Escolar de WCPSS de anoche, fui nombrado director fundador de la escuela secundaria más nueva del distrito: Wake Early College of Information and Biotechnologies. Dejaré VMCCA para este nuevo puesto en enero de 2022.

Este es un momento agridulce; Estoy más que emocionado y honrado de que me confíen este papel. Sin embargo, echaré de menos a VMCCA y a todas las personas que trabajan para hacer de la escuela un gran lugar para los estudiantes. La ayuda y el apoyo de los padres y las familias son una parte importante del éxito de la escuela y estoy muy agradecido por todo lo que han hecho y continuarán haciendo para apoyar a VMCCA.
